These photos were taken by Rineke Dijkstra if you didn't see the title, but I really like her soldier photos especially the first one because of the transformation process in the person's eyes. The first frame he looks so pure and young then as time progresses to the last slide his eyes are hard and have no emotion. You can really just imagine what this man has been through and what he has seen, or maybe you can't. I just really like how it tells a story. On the sixth frame is where I see the transformation so you just have to think what happened between the slide before it. I also enjoy the second photo because the background is so beautiful and pure, not yet touched by men. The landscape is free of houses or roads or any civilization, but there's this man smack dab in the middle who could bring the destruction of the whole peaceful area. I think that the transition of the people is something that I would like to try for myself but of course, it takes time.
